Jacques Garcia

b. 1947 French architect, decorator, and interior designer. Born in 1947 in Paris, France. He graduated from the Penninghen School of Interior Design, Department of Applied Arts. His projects can be seen in famous hotels and restaurants around the world (the lobby and restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York, the Nomad hotels in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, the Parisian apartments of the Sultan of Brunei, the Costes Hotel in Paris, La Mamounia in Marrakech, the Hotel Danieli in Venice, and others). He has been awarded the Legion of Honour for his contribution to preserving the French aesthetic of the classical style. He is one of the largest collectors of royal furniture and interior items lost after the French Revolution. His furniture, made specifically for the Baker company, combines classical extravagance with Zen minimalism.
